Lot's of items have been donated to charities and we'll continue to do over the next week or so. Please don't throw out any items that could be re-used - place them in the large coloured bins outside A/B/C blocks.

30 plus sacks of clothes and kitchen utensils have been donated to Cancer Research and 6 large carrier bags of food to the Lewisham Food Bank, see their thank you letter below ("interesting" food!).

Please keep the items coming!

After a false start due to very strong winds over the last couple of days the gazebo has returned to the grass area outside A/B/C blocks in Loring Hall.

Please don't throw good condition items in the bin when you are packing - donate them so they can be re-used:
Unopened food/Clothes and bedding (clean only please)/Kitchen Utensils and bric a brac.

Thank you!
Tim

Reuse and recycle.

A big thank you to Halls residents who have helped by donating unopened food - see the picture! - this will be added to donations made by RCCS staff.

The food will be donated to the Lewisham Food Bank to help local people in crisis. More details here: http://lewisham.foodbank.org.uk/

Please continue to donate unopened food in the dedicated container under the gazebo in the grounds of Loring Hall.

Please be aware that two residents in a flat had items stolen from their rooms earlier this week.

Please take great care to ensure doors are locked.
Don't allow strangers to follow you into the building .
If you see anyone in the building who you believe should not be there then please contact a member of staff who will investigate straight away.
If you believe any locks are not working properly or doors are being left unsecured then please let us know.

Please help us to maintain a safe environment for all residents.
