🚨New Report: Closing the Workforce Quality Gap.

Today the Education Policy Institute funded by The Sequoia Trust published a new report that examines differences between the teaching workforces at schools with the most and least disadvantaged pupils. It finds a substantial and persistent gap in teacher experience, as well as in subject expertise, turnover and absence rates. The report recommends boosting retention incentives and accelerating professional development for teachers in disadvantaged settings.
