Join for free at Tate Streatham London Library on 19 October at 5:30pm for a unique exhibition bringing together Jill Orpen’s photographs of Sudan from the 1970s. It will also feature artworks created by children taking part in Green Kordofan’s art programme in Yida refugee camp, South Sudan.

Together, they share stories of life, memory, creativity and resilience across generations, so come join us for Black History Month.

Jill Orpen has generously donated her photographs to Green Kordofan, with proceeds supporting art, music, sports and educational activities for children displaced by war.

Thank you to our friends for holding this event!

Never Such Innocence, it was an incredible exhibition. Congratulations to Dagyum and Amanatou for presenting such a meaningful project and sharing it with our library community, including creative workshops with local schools that provided a much needed space for the children to express their own ideas.
