St Hugh's Community Centre St. Hugh’s Residents’ Association was formed in 1975 by Hilda Lane. We have worked in partnership with Affinity Sutton Homes Ltd.

In the early 1980’s the prefabricated hall was donated to us by Bromley Council. Hilda died in 1989 and the hall was renamed “The Hilda Lane Community Centre” in her memory. With the subsequent deterioration of the building, we looked for funding to rebuild the Centre. In 2007, the Community Association became a registered charity to prepare for the new Centre. to build and develop the new Centre
