New Options

Last week at new options we went on our first outing since we’ve re-opened the centre due to covid!

We kicked it off by enjoying the nice weather with a day trip to Stan-borough lake and enjoyed a fish and chips, we then got to enjoy the local fun fair and some of us won teddies on the games

Was such a lovely day, feels great get back to normal!🙂.

All clients enjoyed the day, we hope to get out much more!

So today was something a little different for a group at new options, we headed down to stevange to go bowling unfortunately they were extremely busy but we didn’t waste our trip! We went into the arcades and enjoyed some games and what a fun afternoon we had 🥳

What a lovely day we had today at new options, we had our Christmas dinner cooked by Ellena, it was an early start of 7.30 for the staff but totally worth it for all the smiles and enjoyment!!
And Santa paid us a quick visit and delivered all our clients their Christmas presents

Today a group at new options enjoyed a day trip out to the galleria where they got to enjoy a 2 course meal at harvester!

What an amazing day Maria Ellena and the group had at Southend today!
Thankfully the weather held up and they got to enjoy their day, they had an early start of 7.30 and late finish of 6pm but was we worth it for all the smiles, Michelle even won herself a teddy on the claw machine!!!

So today at new options we had a vegetarian curry day cooked by the amazing rajni, all the clients enjoyed it as you can see by their faces! 😋😋

Due to Emma’s natural leadership skills particularly with supporting individuals into their sessions and on transport, new options has given Emma her own personalised high vis jacket, as shown by the images Emma was more than happy to receive this and start working!

Today was my last day at New Options.
I have worked for 20 years with this lovely lot.
I had a lovely goodbye party and received some lovely gifts, hugs and solo performances.

Thank you everyone for being a great team. I will miss you all.

We have taken delivery of our new vehicles. All our Well Being services have taken delivery of them.
This means some staff can use them throughout the day to help groups out and about in the community and offer a more personalised service.
We now have a 16 seater and two 9 seater vehicles.
IWE Transport are now looking to the future ............
