Tonight our incredible team stayed behind for professional development with Sak our Strategic Wellbeing Lead because that’s just who they are. 🙌
Small Moments, Serious Practice — how the everyday routines we almost overlook are actually where the magic happens. Mealtimes. Nappy changes. Transitions. Every single one is a teaching moment, a connection moment, a safeguarding moment.
These aren’t just our staff. They’re our dream team. And tonight proved it all over again. 💚

This morning our wonderful team gathered at the nursery to complete our annual Paediatric First Aid training with the brilliant Paul Bermingham - what a team 💪
As many of you will know, paediatric first aid certification is required once every three years, but here at NHC we believe that when it comes to the safety of your little ones, once a year is simply best practice. Our children deserve nothing less than a team who are confident, competent, and always ready to act. 🏥❤️
From CPR to choking, emergency response to managing injuries our staff are trained, refreshed, and ready. The safety and wellbeing of every child in our care will always come first. 🧒👶
A huge thank you to Paul for delivering such an engaging and thorough session and to every single member of Team NHC for giving up their Saturday. You are the heart of this nursery. 🤍

As part of our Transport theme, our tiny explorers got to climb aboard, put on their bus driver hats and live their biggest dreams — because at NHC, we don’t just talk about the world, we bring it to our door! 🌍

What an absolutely magical day! Our incredible staff and children dressed up in their finest bookish costumes, the sun was shining, and we were joined by the most wonderful parents and grandparents who came in to share the gift of reading. 🌞
Stories were told, imaginations soared, and little hearts fell deeper in love with books. This is what early years education is all about — nurturing a lifelong love of literacy, one page at a time. 🐛📖

✅ Level 3 qualified (full and relevant)
✅ Experienced with under 2s
✅ Paediatric First Aid certified (or happy to get it)
✅ The kind of person who notices when a child is having a moment before anyone else does
✅ Reliable, warm, funny (optional but honestly a bonus)
