Our researchers are overcoming barriers to building fair and equitable medical AI models. In this latest example, a portable GPU was successfully tested in Rwanda to enable building of datasets that will help shape the world’s first globally representative AI foundation model in healthcare. The goal is to expand the idea to other low and middle income countries.
