भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या शैक्षणिक क्षेत्रातील कार्याला अभिवादन म्हणून त्यांनी स्थापन केलेल्या केलेल्या द पीपल्स एज्युकेशन सोसायटीअंतर्गत विविध शैक्षणिक संस्था, वसतिगृहांच्या इमारतींचा जीर्णोद्धार, जतन आणि संवर्धन करण्याकरिता स्वतंत्र योजना राबविण्यास मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीत मान्यता देण्यात आली. या योजनेतून डॉ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी स्थापन केलेल्या नऊ शैक्षणिक संस्था आणि दोन वसतिगृहांचे जतन आणि संवर्धन केले जाणार.
महाराष्ट्र शासनाने डॉ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या १२५ व्या जयंती वर्षानिमित्त डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जीवनाशी निगडीत असलेल्या स्थळांचा विकास करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. यानुसार नऊ महाविद्यालये आणि दोन वसतिगृहे यांचे जतन आणि संवर्धन करण्यासाठी स्वतंत्र योजना राबविण्यास मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीत मान्यता देण्यात आली. यासाठी पुढील पाच वर्षात, दरवर्षी १०० कोटी याप्रमाणे ५०० कोटी रुपयांच्या खर्चाची तरतूद करण्यास मान्यता देण्यात आली.

मुंबई उच्च न्यायालय, नागपूर आणि औरंगाबाद खंडपीठाकरिता नव्याने २ हजार २२८ पदांची निर्मिती करण्यास करण्यास मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीत मान्यता देण्यात आली.
न्यायालयीन कामकाज गतीने होण्यासाठी मनुष्यबळाची आवश्यकता होती. त्याचबरोबर न्यायालयीन कामकाजामध्ये माहिती तंत्रज्ञान, कृत्रिम बुध्दीमत्तेचा जास्तीत जास्त वापर करुन कामकाज गतिमान होण्याच्या दृष्टीने २ हजार २२८ पदे निर्माण करण्यात आली आहे.

भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या १३४ व्या जयंतीनिमित्त चैत्यभूमी दादर येथे १४ आणि १५ एप्रिल २०२५ रोजी विविध सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. अभिवादन समारंभ, भीमगीते, पुस्तक स्टॉल आणि स्काऊट गाईड्स हॉल येथे विशेष कार्यक्रमांद्वारे जयंती सोहळा मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा केला जाणार आहे. डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना अभिवादन करुन नागरीकांनी विविध कार्यक्रमाला उपस्थित राहण्याचे आवाहन आर्टीचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक तथा बार्टीचे महासंचालक सुनिल वारे यांनी केले आहे.

या विशेष सप्ताहाचा समारोप १४ एप्रिल रोजी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त समता रॅलीने होणार आहे. तसेच राज्यातील सर्व जिल्ह्यांमध्ये समतादुतांमार्फत डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांची जयंती विविध कार्यक्रमाद्वारे साजरी करण्यात येणार असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले आहे.
