Wormholt Park

Wormholt Park has five of fewer than 10 Jeffery Pine trees in the whole of London. Plus two Japanese Elms and a Bosnian Pine. These are "gold" trees and make up less than 0.1% of London's identified trees on the Treetalk website! https://www.treetalk.eco/

Also you can see our artist friend Bonnie Gibbons's lovely art exhibition in the House running from 24 Sept- 24 Nov. She designed our art trails and the fabulous backdrop for our Nature Festival - I've bought one of her gorgeous pictures before, can't wait to see what she has this time!

AGM 24th April 2022 1pm — Friends of Wormholt Park Dear Friend Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022 As Secretary to the Friends of Wormholt Park I am hereby giving notice of our Annual General Meeting to be held Sunday 24th April at 1pm. THE MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE PARK 

We had a brilliant morning yesterday exploring birds bugs and bees. We looked at diverse habitats where all these animals live and looked at what they need to survive: deadwood, wildflower meadows, plants for pollinators and trees. We found lots of cool creatures including this dazzling Tiger moth!
Our park is a haven for wildlife and we can all help to make spaces more wildlife friendly

The vaccine bus is in Wormholt Park today until 6pm.

Walk up Astra-Zeneca vaccines are available for anyone over 40 - first jab or second jab (as long as it is more than 6 weeks since first).

The bus returns on Sunday June 20 from 12 until 6.

Our AGM is on Tuesday 27 April. The Secretary position is available for nominations, with existing committee members seeking re-election.
