"The Anglo-Danish Society exists to promote closer understanding between the United Kingdom and Denmark by arranging lectures, outings, social gatherings and other events of interest to its members and their guests. It also has the active support of the Royal Danish Embassy and a number of Danish and British companies. The Society administers scholarship funds which help Danish students to visit the UK or British students to visit Denmark for the purpose of advanced or post-graduate studies.

The Anglo-Danish Society is a registered Charity, and was founded in 1924 with the encouragement of H.M. Queen Alexandra. It enjoys the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen and Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark. It has the active support of the Royal Danish Embassy and a number of Danish and British companies.

It also seeks to maintain contact with other Anglo-Danish organisations for mutual benefit.

The Society publishes a quarterly newsletter "News & Reviews" covering recent and forthcoming events likely to be of interest to everyone with Anglo-Danish links.
