Babies and toddlers can be particularly sensitive to heat, but a few simple precautions can help keep them cool, comfortable and happy during the hottest days.

Some of our favourite tips:

💧 Keep little ones well hydrated throughout the day
💧 Dress babies and toddlers in lightweight, breathable clothing
💧 Keep rooms cool and well ventilated where possible
💧 Seek shade and avoid the strongest midday sun
💧 Enjoy water play to help little ones stay cool
💧 Avoid cold-water sponging – it can trigger shivering, making it harder for babies to cool down effectively

Hola Barcelona is a brand new lesson, created by our incredible founder Dr Lin Day in loving memory of her partner and former Director Howard Day. Inspired by the joy and colour of a city he loved so much, this special Sensathon experience has been created just for you — and we can’t wait to share it with you 💛

What is Sensathon?
A fun, themed Baby Sensory® and Toddler Sense® session where your child completes a series of fun sensory challenges while fundraising for Tommy’s.

Do I have to fundraise?
You can raise as little or as much as you like — every pound makes a difference.

How do I get started?
Speak to your class leader, who will guide you to set up your child’s fundraising page online.

Does my child get anything?
Yes! Every child receives a certificate, and there are prizes to be won 💛

What should my child wear?
Bright, colourful, fiesta-style outfits — the more fun, the better!
