Good bye to a fellow comrade - Flt Lt (Dr) Sunanda Jayaratne (Retd)
A truly lovely and humble gentleman, who was a fellow member of our association, who held numerous ex-co appointments, and concluded as our immediate past president.
Dr Sunanda was always willing to go the extra mile to support any worthwhile social projects to help and uplift humanity and less able warrior veterans. Generosity was simply woven into the very fabric of his being.
We all will deeply miss you Dr. Sunanda, and the many wonderful jolly good times we shared will stay cherished forever.
May your gentle soul rest peacefully in Heaven until we meet again.
Our deepest thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences are with your beloved wife, Shirani, your only son Anurudda, and your two daughters during this time of profound grief.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Doctor. Your kindness, generosity, and warm spirit will never be forgotten.
