Forest Gate South Police

Two cannabis factories have been discovered and shut down in Forest Gate South during the last two weeks!
One arrest was made at one of the venues.

Last Friday we assisted with a squat eviction on Woodgrange Road. Officers were sprayed with paint and fire extinguishers. Two people were arrested.

Outreach services were present on the day and were able to help four others.

Today officers assisted with a large squat eviction in Stratford.

Everybody found inside was offered help from NHS and outreach services.

There were three arrests. One person was wanted for a serious assault and two others for drugs offences.

On late shifts this weekend and joined up with Stratford and Forest Gate North officers to carry out some group patrols on a minibus. 🚨

We patrolled along the canal path in Stratford as there have been reports of knife point robberies. ❌

We then patrolled all over Forest Gate. We issued Community Protection Notice warnings to four males last night, residents have been complaining about this group. They were congregating in a communal area and none of them live there! 👎

Back on patrol again this evening 🙂

Hi all, a quick update from us...
Last night we seized a vehicle for no insurance, the driver was also issued a warning for possession of cannabis.
This week we arrested a female who was wanted for non-payment of fines.
We have been out patrolling and responded to calls relating to robberies, males armed with knives, drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.
We have also issued two warnings and a Community Protection Notice to people who have been found causing a nuisance and intimidating local residents. If this Notice is breached then they are liable for arrest.

We are aware of a squat on Woodgrange Road E7 and we are working with the owners to arrange an eviction. We will update again shortly 😊

A female has been arrested by our team today for possession of Class A drugs and theft. 🚓
The drugs have been tested in custody and confirmed to be crack co***ne and he**in. ❌
The property will be returned to the victim who reported it as stolen to police two days ago! 😀

Hello everyone, we have just joined Nextdoor.

Nextdoor is a website/app which connects people instantly with their neighbours to build stronger and safer communities.

Residents use Nextdoor for a variety of things but some of the most popular are to discuss local issues and ask for recommendations.

We are unable to view content posted by users in the neighbourhood but there is an option for residents to share crime and safety posts with officers.

This sounds like a great way for us to share updates with more residents.

A quick update - so far this week we have executed a number of arrest enquiries, visited victims, referred a female to outreach services, referred a male to the Youth Offending Team and patrolled the ward.

Tonight we attended a residents meeting arranged by their housing provider. Lots of positive work taking place by all parties which is ongoing!
During our shift we also had the grounds to search twelve people.
We found a male in possession of one bag of cannabis and he was issued a Community Resolution.
We also had time for a weapon sweep. Nothing was found.

Defendant Ehab DILAL convicted of possession of Class A drugs at Thames Magistrates Court yesterday and sentenced to four months in prison.

DILAL was identified as causing persistent ASB in and has now been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order, banned from the E15 and E7 area for five years.
