We have live music, many stalls, kids activities, food and drinks, there is so much to see and do.
This year we also have a fancy dress competition.

Once a meadow, this patch became overgrown with dense bramble over many seasons. Meadow maintenance is a core task for us; it opens up the area and provides an opportunity for other seeds to sprout and grow without the harsh competition of bramble. How do you think we did?

Even though brambles and nettles are a vital part of the woodlands ecosystem, they need to be kept in check. This weekend we cleared some overgrown patches to allow other species of wildflower to grow during the coming spring. Naturally the area will revert back to brambles later on in the year.
