More success for the cadets from 344 (Fulham) squadron RAFAC.
Today the squadron competed in the London Wing Inness Sword competition, a multi event competition involving shooting, drill, first aid, archery, construction task, rowing, and observation.
I am delighted to announce we won!!!

We Are The Champions!!
Today cadets from 344 Fulham squadron took part in the London Wing Athletics Competition and I am delighted to announce we won the competition.

Last week Cdt Zawadski-Hartfouch was presented with his silver D of E certificate, he is the first of several cadets who will be presented with their Bronze and Silver D of E awards in the next few weeks.
Congratulations to cadet Zawadski-Hartfouch on his achevement.

On Sunday 19th April, 19 cadets from 344 (Fulham) squadron RAFAC were part of the London Wing teams at the London and Southeast Region 7 a side football and rounders competition.
I am delighted to announce that London Wing came 1st in Junior Boys football, 2nd in Junior Girls football, 2nd in Senior Boys football, 2nd in Senior Girls football and 2nd in the Rounders competition.

Yesterday 4 cadets from 344 (Fulham) squadron RAFAC visited No 6 AEF at RAF Benson for their first air experience flight.
The cadets had a great time as can be seen from the photographs.
The cadets also saw a number of the other aircraft being operated from RAF Benson the Chinook and Squirril helicoptors, the local air ambulance, as well as a privately owned De Haviland Chipmunk, the first aircraft operated by the ATC for air experience flying.
As always a big thank you to all the pilots, groundcrew and staff at RAF Benson for making this a great day.

Yesterday 8 cadets from 344 (Fulham) squadron RAFAC went to 6 AEF Flight at RAF Benson for flying in the Grob Tutor aircraft, for 6 cadets this was their first flight in the tutor and all cadets had a great time flying the aircraft themselves, as always a big thank you to the pilots and ground crew at 6 AEF who made the worked hard to ensure the cadets had a good time.
As this was a weekday the cadets also saw helicopters from RAF Benson flying. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
