Nursery Places Available for September 2021!
Applications are now open at Newstead Nursery for FEE2 and FEE3 places available in September. Please apply NOW in order to get a place. FEE3 30 hours for working families is also available at Newstead Nursery.
Having your child in a nursery place, supports their development with socialisation, play and development.

📚Bookstart Corner is starting next week at Newstead Children's Centre.
📚 Bookstart Corner is a 4 week programme, where children will be gifted a new book every week and participate in book related activities. This is a good opportunity to further your child's learning and imagination, as well as promote their communication and language.

A message from Local mums Katy and Emmy -
Local Mums Katy and Emmy have recently set up a project called 'N2 Mums Speak'. It will be a space for Mums in East Finchley to get together (outside!) for a series of talks given by and for local mums. We thought it would be a great way for people to connect and make friends given the Covid climate! We will be holding the talks at Barnwood Community Forest Garden on Tarling Road. Children are welcome! For younger kids the garden is the perfect space for a Teddy Bears Picnic so please feel free to bring a picnic blanket and Teddy for your little one to keep them entertained while you are chatting with everyone. The project is funded through a community grant from Grange Big Local. As part of the funding, we have some money available to cover childcare costs for Mums who may need a bit of child-free time to have the space to prepare some ideas for their talk.
Our events are free to attend but registration is essential as we have limited places due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

Easter youth activities are open for booking!
We have over 20 workshops on offer running from Tues 6 April to Thurs 15 April – these include watercolour painting, skateboarding, fashion, fitness and circus skills. There is something for everyone between ages 6 to 19, and up to 25 for young people with disabilities.
