Gateway is a community based housing association in East London.

We are a Community based Housing Association that has been operating in the East End for the last 90 years. We have over 2,800 homes in management, including supported housing, shared ownership and leasehold properties.

e are aware that there is a leak in one of the blocks that has caused a loss of electricity in some of the properties in the E7 area.
Our contractors and Gateway Homeworks are on site to fix and restore electricity to the majority of properties by the afternoon and the remaining by end of the day.

If you are still without running water from the affected areas in the E7 area, please contact our Customer Services and we will have fresh water delivered to your property.

We are aware of the Thames Water issue that has occurred in East London (E7) area, which Thames Water are working to resolve as soon as possible.

We understand that residents in the areas of; Earlham Grove, Spinney Court, Erin Court and Resida Court are without electricity or water.
We are making deliveries of fresh water to residents in these affected properties. As we continue to liaise with Thames Water, we will update residents with further information.

We have been awarded the We Invest in People GOLD accreditation from Investors in People (IIP)

Only 17% of organisations achieve Gold. Thanks go to all our colleagues who contributed to making this exceptional achievement possible. The award illustrates our continual progress on improving approaches to people management and development across the business. It also indicated the success of our current corporate strategy, Unlocking Performance 2022 – 2023 as we continue to work to support communities to thrive.

Gateway’s IIP Gold Accreditation was a great opportunity for us to hear from colleagues across the organisation. Through their feedback, and the IIP assessments, we have learnt about what matters to employees. However, this is just the beginning as there is still more work to do. We will continue to improve our services to better the organisation and continue to move forward in how we manage, develop and lead at Gateway.
