The Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the UK and Ireland, together with the London offices of Catalonia Trade and Investment, the Catalan Tourist Board and the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies arrived in Manchester.

Catalonia House’s visit focused in specific areas that can create meaningful opportunities and shared growth for both Catalonia and Manchester.

We met with the Manchester Combined Authority to boost collaboration across business, culture, tourism, and public policy.

We also had the chance to visit , the UK’s leading hub for media, creativity and innovation.

🎓We were delighted to take part in the celebration of 100 years of Catalan Studies at the University of Liverpool.

It is the pioneering centre for Catalan Studies in the United Kingdom and the first outside Spain to celebrate its centenary.

🗣️The Annual Peers Symposium focused on Catalan culture and language, covering topics such as translation, the work of Institut Ramon Llull in promoting Catalan worldwide, and the experiences of Catalan students on campus.
