๐ LANโs First Year: A Year of Impact & Progress!๐
One year ago, Labour African Network (LAN) was founded to amplify Africaโs voice within UK political circles and to champion causes that affect the community.
Since then, we have:

Supported Vaughan Gething as Walesโ First Minister โ a historic first for a man of African descent.
โ
Achieved a 90% success rate in Parliamentary and Local election campaigns for Labourโs candidates of African descent.
โ
Hosted a maternal health symposium tackling racial disparities.
โ
Strengthened UK-Africa relations through high-level engagements with ministers, Ambassadors, High Commissioners and other stakeholders.
โ
Provided strategic support to uphold The Gambiaโs FGM ban.
โ
Engaged in cultural diplomacy, supporting the Ashanti Kingdomโs UK celebrations.
