Last Friday, our Men in Sheds project received a Bexley Civic Recognition Award for Voluntary Service by Adults. Well done to Men in Sheds!
Three of our members, Bob, Barry and Ray, went up on stage to collect the award. All three have massively helped shape and deliver the Shedโs outreach work with the wider community over the past two years, from bird box making in care homes to building mini dragons for a primary school. A massive thank you to Councillor Nicola Taylor for the nomination!

We are absolutely thrilled to continue building such a wonderful relationship with Age UK Bexley and are incredibly grateful for their generosity and support. In partnership with L&Q Homes and Anderson The Quarry, they have very kindly donated a fantastic art trolley overflowing with creative resources for our children and Age UK visitors to enjoy together during their Talking Cafรฉ sessions. ๐จโจ
These sessions are a truly special part of school life, celebrating conversation, creativity and connection across generations.
We are also so thankful that they have generously funded the sessions, allowing our Age UK visitors to share lunch with our children each term โ creating meaningful memories, friendships and moments of joy for everyone involved. ๐๐ฝ๏ธ๐

We are currently experiencing some issues with our phone line. While calls are getting through, the signal quality is poor, which may make conversations difficult to hear. ๐๐๐๐
In the meantime, if you would like to enquire about a service and are able to do so, please use our online contact form instead:
