The next Mayor of London and London Assembly elections will take place on 4 May 2028. London Elects is the independent team in charge of organising the elections of the Mayor of London and London Assembly. This includes designing the ballot papers, managing the vote counting process, and promoting the election across London. While part of the Greater London Authority, London Elects is politically impartial and works directly for the Greater London Returning Officer.
