Charge' d'Affaires a.i. Bipin Duwadi visited Bangor University in Wales and held meetings with Prof. Edmund Burke, Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Andrew Edwards, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, along with executive members of the University today.
During the meetings, he raised concerns about Nepali students at the University and requested to increase in support and welfare provisions for them.
He also participated in the first-ever Bangor-Nepal Day at the University.

The Embassy organized ‘One Child, One Plant: A Day at the Nepal Embassy’ program, at its premises, today. The Program was mainly organized to foster a sense of belongingness among children born and raised in the UK to their motherland Nepal.

Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Bipin Duwadi paid a courtesy call on Hon. Michael Myles MP, Minister for Caymanian Employment and Immigration, at the Government Administration Building, Grand Cayman, today.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the concerns of Nepali migrant workers and on a collaborative and coordinated approach between the two governments to address them.

Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Bipin Duwadi paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Jane Owen, Governor of the Cayman Islands, today.
They discussed matters relating to Nepali nationals currently working across various sectors in the Cayman Islands.

Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Bipin Duwadi and representatives of the British Gurkha veterans had a meeting with the Minister for Veterans and People, Hon. Louise Sandher-Jones MP, and her team at the Ministry of Defence today.

We appreciate the efforts made so far by the Minister on the outstanding issues of Gurkha veterans and remain optimistic that continued engagement will lead to finding a mutually acceptable solution at an early date.
