We are the SOAS Labour Society, and we campaign for Labour on campus.

We believe that the values which underpin the labour movement - democracy, equality, and social justice - are those we need to pursue as a student movement to fight for a better deal for students and the society in which we live. We aim to unite under our new leader Jeremy Corbyn to provide democratic discussion, debates, and political campaigns, and to organise SOAS Labour students in the pursuit

SOAS LABOUR SOCIETY IS BACK, just in time for the General Election!

The plan is to get Labour-supporting SOAS students canvassing in key marginal seats around London (don't worry, we'll run you through it beforehand!).

International students welcome. Not being eligible to vote doesn't mean you can't have an impact.

Get in touch via email ([email protected]) to get involved or comment below/drop us a message on FB or Twitter.

We stand with the workers with their jobs under threat.
We don’t stand with our SU avoiding its democratic duty to its students.

Demand better. Never settle.

Hi there a quick update on SOAS Labour atm:

We’ve all been very busy and have become a little side tracked with other events but we (the exec team) still want to see the group power on forward at this crucial time. We’ll be running elections soon as we’re all coming to the end of our terms. Once the SOAS SU elections are over we’ll send out details and procedures of our elections. All roles are up for grabs. So keep your eyes peeled 👀

Universal Credit is about to be rolled out across Camden. Over 5000 families in the Borough could be worse off under the scheme and the nationwide roll-out has been an administrative nightmare, leaving UK communities in debt and despair.

For some people, this has even become a life-or-death matter.

We're opposing the Tories' complete disregard for people's welfare.

Please sign Camden Labour's petition, endorsed by Keir Starmer and Tulip Siddiq:
