《女孩不平凡》以細膩動人的筆觸描繪女性跨越三個人生階段的成長與轉變。影片聚焦生命中最重要的人際關係，透過愛、記憶與陪伴的交織，勾勒出一段關於自我探索與人生軌跡的深刻旅程 。

電影將於6月14日在倫敦獨立影院 The Garden Cinema 舉辦特映會，徐欣羨導演也將於映後透過線上連線與觀眾交流；6月19日起於全英國正式上映！

Golden Horse Award-nominated film Girlfriends is coming to UK cinemas!

The film offers a moving and nuanced portrayal of a woman’s journey through three stages of life, exploring growth, change, and the relationships that shape us.

A special preview screening will be held on 14 June at The Garden Cinema in London, followed by an online Q&A with director Tracy Choi. The film will then open in cinemas across the UK from 19 June.

第79屆世界衛生大會（WHA）日前落幕，多個友邦及理念相近國家透過發言、聯合聲明及友台決議等方式，支持台灣參與WHA及世界衛生組織（WHO），肯定台灣醫療與公衛經驗對全球的重要貢獻。

今年在日內瓦，台灣也透過跨部會合作舉辦「台灣智慧醫療與健康產業展」，向各國代表展示台灣在智慧醫療、健康科技與醫療韌性上的創新成果。

Taiwan continues to contribute to global health by combining technological innovation with medical expertise.

The 79th World Health Assembly (WHA) recently concluded, with diplomatic allies and like-minded partners voicing strong support for Taiwan’s participation in both the WHA and the World Health Organization (WHO), recognizing the value of Taiwan’s healthcare and public health experience to the international community.

In Geneva, Taiwan also showcased its strengths in smart healthcare, health technology, and medical resilience through the Taiwan Smart Medical & HealthTech Expo, organized through cross-agency collaboration.

今年第79屆「世界衛生大會」日前閉幕，我們的友邦與理念相近國家透過執言、提案、聯合聲明、致函與通過友台決議等方式，肯定台灣的醫療經驗能造福全球，也堅定支持台灣參與世界衛生大會與世界衛生組織，呼籲全球公衛體系納入台灣，實踐「不遺漏任何人」（leaving no one behind）。

同時，對於中國及部分國家在大會期間再次扭曲 #聯大第2758號決議 及WHA第25.1號決議，海地🇭🇹、帛琉🇵🇼、聖克里斯多福及尼維斯🇰🇳、聖露西亞🇱🇨、貝里斯🇧🇿 與日本🇯🇵 也公開嚴正駁斥，強調這兩項決議與台灣無關。

我們誠摯感謝每一位好朋友的力挺，台灣不僅具備科技實力與醫療經驗，今年WHA大會我們透過創意與跨部會合作在日內瓦當地傳達台灣的訴求，佳龍部長率領 #醫療公衛台灣隊 舉辦「台灣智慧醫療與健康產業展」，向各國代表團展示台灣醫療的創新、智慧與韌性實力，也實踐價值外交、同盟外交及經濟外交三層面的「總合外交」戰略。

｜Taiwan's innovation, tech & healthcare expertise on show to the world 🫶

Many of our allies and like-minded partners spoke up for Taiwan, delivering speeches, proposing agenda items, issuing joint statements, and writing open letters, during the 79th World Health Assembly, which concluded last month. They recognized how Taiwan's healthcare experience has helped to enrich the international community, and backed Taiwan's participation in the World Health Organization and WHA, in keeping with the spirit of "leaving no one behind."

Haiti🇭🇹, Palau🇵🇼, Saint Kitts and Nevis🇰🇳, Saint Lucia🇱🇨, Belize🇧🇿, and Japan🇯🇵also condemned the distortion of UNGA Resolution 2758 and WHA Resolution 25.1 by the PRC and other countries, stressing that the resolutions do not mention Taiwan. We sincerely thank our friends for their strong support.

Taiwan's tech strengths and healthcare expertise were on full display in Geneva during the WHA, thanks to our innovative approach and cross-ministry cooperation, ensuring that our request to participate was heard by the world. MOFA Minister Lin Chia-lung also led a delegation of industry representatives to take part in the Taiwan Smart Medical & HealthTech Expo, demonstrating medical innovation, smart tech, and resilience, in a testament to the values-based, alliance-based, and economic diplomacy that makes up the integrated diplomatic approach.

MOFA will continue to harness public-private cooperation to ensure Taiwan's healthcare expertise is center stage and that we can help realize the goal of health for all 🤝

台灣知名酷兒作家陳思宏日前受邀參與 Q***r East 2026 文學講座，與英國作家 Adam Zmith 展開精彩對談，活動現場氣氛熱烈，吸引眾多讀者到場聆聽與參與簽書🎤

講座以陳思宏備受好評的獲獎小說《鬼地方》為主軸。透過小說中的人物與故事，陳思宏也分享了自身對家鄉、記憶與身分認同的深刻思考。

他也談及近期以《臺灣漫遊錄》榮獲國際布克獎的楊双子與譯者金翎，並特別提到楊双子在得獎感言中展現的堅定與自信，形容那是「令人驚艷、不可思議的台灣年輕女性形象」，讓世界看見台灣文學的新世代力量。

Q***r Taiwanese writer Kevin Chen was recently invited to take part in a book talk at Q***r East 2026, where he engaged in a lively and insightful conversation with British author Adam Zmith.

The discussion centered on Chen’s award-winning novel Ghost Town. Through its characters and stories, he shared his reflections on hometown, memory, and identity, offering personal insights into the themes that have shaped his writing.

長期投入月經平權倡議的台灣 NGO「小紅帽」，近日受黛安娜基金會邀請，與英國威廉王子進行會面，分享台灣推動月經平權的經驗與成果。

小紅帽不僅是首個同時獲得「黛安娜人道主義獎」與「黛安娜傳承獎」的台灣團隊，更透過實際行動，讓世界看見台灣在性別平等、公共參與及社會創新領域的努力。

月經平權是全球共同關注的重要議題。從校園教育、公共倡議到政策推動，台灣持續朝著更友善、更平等的社會邁進，也透過公民社會的力量，與國際夥伴分享經驗、攜手合作。

The Taiwanese founder of NGO With Red, which has long championed menstrual health and gender equality, was recently invited by the Diana Award to meet privately with Prince William and share her experience advancing period equity in Taiwan.

With Red is the first Taiwanese organisation to receive both the Diana Award and the Diana Legacy Award. Through its advocacy and grassroots work, the organisation has helped bring greater attention to gender equality, social inclusion, and public engagement.

Period equity is a global issue that affects communities everywhere. From education and public awareness to policy advocacy, Taiwan continues working toward a more inclusive and equitable society while sharing its experiences with international partners.

威廉王子，你準備好跟夏綠蒂公主（aka 女兒）聊月經了嗎？

這個星期，我們非常榮幸受到黛安娜基金會邀請，與英國威廉王子單獨會面，分享小紅帽在臺灣推動月經平權的故事 🩸
​
這麼難得能跟王子聊月經的機會，我們當然不能放過。
​
小紅帽 Vivi 一開頭就問威廉王子：你準備好跟即將進入青春期的女兒聊月經了嗎？
​
王子當下馬上回答：「這真的是一件我比較沒有經驗的事！但我很清楚，自己總有一天，而且很快就會需要跟夏綠蒂聊這個話題。到時候我會需要找我的伴侶（凱特王妃）一起幫忙。」
​
王子的反應，其實跟我們遇過的許多爸爸很像。大家都知道這一天無法避免，卻常常苦無資源，不確定該怎麼開口、如何準備。
（這正是我們打造月經博物館、持續推動親子共學月經教育課程的原因 🙌）
​

接著，王子很熱情地分享，他也有意識到月經汙名的嚴重性與重要性。
​
這幾年他投入支持女性運動員與運動發展，才發現原來許多訓練機制與設備，都是以生理男性運動員為基礎設計的。當這些運動發展出女性版本時，卻沒有把女性不同的生理需求一併考量進去。再加上月經汙名，一切就更難被說出口。
​
因此這幾年，他持續支持要重新思考女性運動員的發展與制度，讓從兒童訓練到職業賽事的每一個場域，都有真正以女性需求出發、為女性量身打造的支持系統。而月經，正是其中一定要被考量進去的關鍵。
​
對話中，小紅帽 Vivi 也把握機會，向王子分享我們在臺灣推動的種種行動：從支持月經貧窮少女的服務、月經教育的推動、友善政策的倡議、傳統習俗迷思的翻轉，到各國旅客造訪月經博物館的影響力。王子也表示，很支持英國有這樣的行動一起推進。

2021 年，小紅帽很榮幸成為第一個獲得黛安娜人道主義獎與黛安娜傳承獎的臺灣團隊。這次也非常感謝黛安娜基金會選擇邀請我們，作為代表與威廉王子對話。

這場對話對我們來說，不只是給團隊一份深具意義的肯定，更再次證明：月經平權是全世界共同關注的議題，也是我們共同面對的挑戰。

在馬來西亞舉辦的 2026 國際廚藝大賽中，台灣業者以「香菜炸雞」拿下極接近滿分的特金牌佳績🐔

此外，九層塔炸雞、BBQ雞排、招牌鹽酥雞、酥炸雞翅及脆皮雞排等作品，也都獲得總分 90 分以上的金牌肯定，台灣「軟食力」飄香國際！

At the 2026 Global Culinary Challenge held in Malaysia, a Taiwanese entrant won a special gold medal with an almost perfect score for their cilantro fried chicken 🐔

In addition, Taiwanese submissions of basil fried chicken, BBQ chicken cutlet, signature Taiwanese popcorn chicken, crispy fried chicken wings, and crispy chicken cutlet all earned gold medals with scores above 90 points.

Taiwan’s culinary soft power is making its mark on the international stage-one delicious bite at a time!

【台英關係大事記─立法院韓院長率跨黨派立委團訪英，倫敦花絮】

立法院韓國瑜院長及訪團5月13日至16日訪問英國期間，也度過許多精彩的好時光。

漫步街頭欣賞英國國會地標Big Ben大笨鐘(實際名稱Elizabeth Tower)及英國政府所在地白廳(White Hall)。

在全球美食齊聚的首善之都倫敦，品嘗炸魚薯條、司康、印度料理及冰淇淋等美饌，感受跨國文化特色。

During their visit to the UK from 13–16 May, Legislative Speaker Han Kuo-yu and the delegation also enjoyed some memorable moments.

They strolled through London, taking in landmarks such as Big Ben and Whitehall, the heart of the UK government.

In the cosmopolitan capital, they sampled local and international delights including fish and chips, scones, Indian cuisine, and ice cream, savouring the city’s rich cultural diversity.

民主的力量來自人民多元的聲音與共同參與，而非單一敘事。國家的責任，是支持下一代追求更好的未來，而不是以暴力或壓制扼殺希望。

當真相仍被封存，記憶就是對抗遺忘的力量。台灣將持續與所有追求自由民主的人站在一起，直到真相被看見、傷痛被撫慰，不再有人因追求自由而失去生命。因為唯有尊重人民、守護自由、實踐民主的國家，才真正值得尊敬。

The strength of a democracy comes from the diversity of voices among its people and their shared participation, not from a single dominant narrative. The responsibility of a nation is to support the next generation in pursuing a better future, not to extinguish hope through violence or suppression.

When the truth remains concealed, memory becomes a force against forgetting. Taiwan will continue to stand with all those who strive for freedom and democracy until the truth is acknowledged, the wounds are healed, and no one loses their life for seeking freedom. For only a nation that respects its people, safeguards liberty, and upholds democratic values is truly worthy of respect.

37年，可以讓一個嬰兒長大成人、成家立業、走出屬於個人的康莊大道。

但37年前的今天，數千名正值青春年華、滿懷理想抱負的年輕人，卻在北京街頭、天安門廣場以及中國各地，遭到軍隊、坦克無情射殺與輾壓。

當年被射殺與輾壓的，不僅是參與民主運動者的生命與青春，更是中國一整個世代，對自由民主追求的渴望與實踐。

一個真正偉大的國家，不應該迷信船堅炮利、窮兵黷武，而應該要容納不同的聲音、保護人民追求夢想的權利、並勇於面對歷史的傷口。

我衷心期盼，中國能正視37年前的六四事件，承認真相、撫慰傷痛，開啟和解與對話；讓人民能夠自由表達意見，讓不同世代、不同立場的人，都能參與公共決策。特別是年輕世代的聲音，更應該被聽見；因為他們對未來的想像，是一個國家繼續前進的力量。

海納百川、故能成其大。

民主國家的力量，不靠宏大的敘事、也不需要由上而下的主旋律；民主國家的力量，來自人民多元的聲音、來自人民的眾志成城。一個健全的政府與社會，應該傾全力支持下一代，讓下一代過上比自己更好的生活；而不是用暴力、監控等方式，扼殺他們的夢想、抹去他們的意見。

上周，我出席一場青年論壇，和許多年輕、有想法、有活力的高中生面對面座談。在和他們對話的過程中，我聽見、也看見國家未來的希望。

國家的未來，不應由權力者單方面決定，而是讓每個年輕世代，都能被聽見、被支持、被成就。因此，政府在近日推動「台灣人口對策新戰略——家庭支持篇」，從成長津貼、托育支持、教育加碼到友善職場，持續投資年輕人、支持下一代。

因為我深信，支持年輕世代，就是投資國家未來。國家的偉大，不在土地大小，不在武力強弱，而在人民能否自由、能否被尊重、能否安心追求自己的人生。

當真相仍被封存，記憶就是抵抗遺忘的力量。讓我們繼續努力，台灣會與所有追求自由民主的人站在一起，直到真相被看見、傷痛被撫慰，直到不再有人因為追求自由而失去生命。

因為一個尊重人民、守護自由、實踐民主的國家，才是一個真正值得尊敬的國家。

阿美族DJ汝妮將於今年6月展開英國巡演，並受邀登上 Sheffield「Migration Matters Festival」開幕演出🎶

汝妮將原住民族音樂與 EDM、Techno 等電子樂元素融合，以鮮明且充滿自我意識的風格，探索傳統文化與當代聲響的交會。她曾於 2024 年代表台灣參與巴黎文化奧運，持續透過音樂促進跨文化交流，讓世界聽見台灣原住民族的聲音。

Indigenous Taiwanese DJ Dungi will embark on a UK tour this June and has been invited to perform at the opening event of Sheffield’s Migration Matters Festival🎶

Blending Amis music with electronic genres such as EDM and techno, DJ Dungi’s distinctive and self-assured style explores the intersection of traditional culture and contemporary sound. She represented Taiwan at the Paris 2024 Cultural Olympiad and continues to foster cross-cultural exchange through music, bringing the voices and stories of Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples to audiences around the world.

2026年夏天，臺灣8組表演藝術團隊將前進愛丁堡藝穗節及外亞維儂藝術節，其中4部作品將在英國愛丁堡藝穗節演出，向世界展現臺灣表演藝術的創意、多元與文化能量！

Taiwanese Performing Arts Groups Return to the International Stage

This summer, eight Taiwanese performing arts productions will be showcased at two major international festivals: the 🇬🇧 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the 🇫🇷 Avignon Festival Off. Four productions will be presented in Edinburgh, bringing Taiwan’s creativity, diversity, and cultural energy to UK audiences.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture has highlighted that 2026 marks a significant year for Taiwan–Europe cultural exchange. Building on the Taiwan Cultural Year in Europe, Taiwan will continue to promote arts programmes and human rights initiatives across 10 European countries, while strengthening Taiwan–UK cultural ties through participation in leading international festivals.

Through arts, culture, and international collaboration, Taiwan continues to share its unique cultural identity with audiences across the UK and Europe.
