We have some disappointing news to share, and we wanted to make sure you heard it from us as soon as possible. Due to an unexpected delay at customs, the Darkness into Light t-shirts will unfortunately not be available on the night of the walk. This is entirely outside of our control and we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience. We know how much the t-shirt means as part of the experience, and we do not take that disappointment lightly.
If you have a t-shirt from a previous Darkness into Light walk, we would kindly ask you to dust it off, and bring it along on Saturday morning. Every yellow t-shirt on the route, however many years it has been washed and walked in, is a symbol of the same commitment, the same community and the same hope that has always made this event what it is.
The walk itself remains exactly as planned; 4:15am on Saturday, 9th May across Cricklewood, Clapham, Hazelwood and Luton, raising vital funds for Pieta House and icap. We will see you in the dark on Saturday morning, t-shirts old or otherwise, and we will walk into the light together.
