Our Story

Le***an, Gay, Bisexual and Trans histories are revealed through personal and public activity and the records which are left. Collecting and preserving these histories for future generations is important. Without the collection and preservation of LGBT histories the stories which remain are those held in official records such as court or hospital collections.

The regular activities for those interested in LGBT history provide different ways for people to see the scope of the collections and material and to recognise that the things they have collected and memories they want to share are important contributions to the bigger story.
