π¬ βAt the 999 Club, we meet people on some of the hardest days of their lives. But every day, we also see something else β resilience, humour and hope.β
A few weeks ago, our community gathered at The Albany to launch the 999 Clubβs new five-year strategy.
In our latest blog, CEO Charly Richardson reflects on the launch event and examines the key points of the strategy - as well as how to move from launch to action.

Last week, we held a special event to launch our new 5-year strategy! β
Hosted at the Albany, the event provided a chance for our community to hear directly from our CEO Charly Richardson about the 999 Club's strategy for 2026-2031.
π€ It also featured powerful speeches and readings from the 999 Club's Chair Victoria Prouse, trustee Sandra Iskander, and our fantastic Champions Lianne Sanderson and Bernadette Russell.
Guests had the opportunity to connect with our teams, learn more about our work, and spend time networking with others who are passionate about ending homelessness.
A huge thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, speakers and attendees for making the event so special, and to Albany Deptford for hosting us!

π Today is the LAUNCH of the 999 Club 5-Year Strategy for 2026-2031.
This strategy sets out how we will continue to be a place where people feel safe, seen and supported, while preparing for a future where demand is rising, and needs are becoming more complex.
π’ A key part of our strategy will be our NEW Prevention and Accommodation Hub - bringing together accommodation, mental health support and wider services in one place.
This will allow us to respond earlier, support people before crisis escalates, and create clearer routes into longer-term housing.
A massive thank you to our Members, who have been instrumental in shaping the strategy. π€
