We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Postage/stamp prices are increasing significantly in April. Remember to stock up on stamps before the increase.
We are delighted to announce that Royal mail are now able to dispatch parcels internationally. It has been a long wait but in the meantime they have introduced enhancements which will improve delivery times and quality of service.
Since Brexit, we have needed customs information for all packages. From today, we (at the post office counter) have to type customs information in for each item that is handled and this will mean that processing a parcel will take slightly longer, but it will ensure smooth processing at the destination country and hopefully speedy delivery.
A series of devastating earthquakes have hit southern Turkey (now known as Türkiye) and north-west Syria killing at least 17,000 people and injuring many more. Thousands of buildings, including hospitals and schools, have collapsed and infrastructure has been badly damaged.
DEC charities and their local partners are among the first responders, working with locally-led relief efforts. Immediate priorities are medical treatment for the injured, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heaters for spaces and winter kits with blankets, and warm clothes, and ensuring people have food and clean water.
You can help them by donating online, over the phone or in any of our 11,500 Post Office branches. Our teams are accepting cash and card donations over the counter.
