Labour has released another 650 prisoners early today, that is on top of the 700 released early on Oct 1.

4,500 prisoners are expected to be eligible for early release.

An early release programme introduced by the Conservatives saw more than 10,000 prisoners freed early between October 2023 and September 2024.

Portland waste incinerator update-

In a further blow to Portland, Weymouth and wider South Dorset, Labour’s permitted waste incinerator has been given the green light to burn industrial waste from chemical processes, plastics, and building waste from contaminated sites, in addition to the original grant for domestic waste.

Reform UK South Dorset could not be clearer: we are categorically opposed to the waste incinerator, and this additional variation to allow for the burning of more hazardous waste will only further damage our constituency.

South Dorset needs a new MP who can stand up for our constituency, and our country needs a new government.

We will continue to work tirelessly for both and continue to look at every possible option to stop the incinerator, should it not be built between now and the next general election.
