What we stand for in Reform Dorset >

- Preserving the unique natural beauty of our county for future generations to enjoy and be inspired by.

- No more solar farms on agricultural land, we want farmers farming.

- No wind turbines off our UNESCO world heritage coastline at either Swanage or Portland.

- We are categorically opposed to the huge levels of urban development planned by the Liberal Democrats, much of which is in AONB ( DNL) and protected greenbelt areas.

- Pro sensible levels of development within existing urbanised areas and brownfield sites, which we want to see made easier through planning reform and cheaper through cutting regulation.

- Pro limiting the sale of a larger amount of housing that is built in Dorset to those with a strong connection to Dorset, especially our young people and those priced out of the current market.

- Pro backing our rural traditions and crafts that give Dorset its unique visual aesthetic, be that thatching, stonemasonry, hedge laying, drystone walling or traditional farming.
