☔️ Book sorting day…not even a fraction of the way through! 🤦♀️
With my youngest now getting more confident in reading it’s time some of these make their journey into his hands….and more than likely mine…again too…I wonder if there’s any they’ll want to keep forever..There’s a few on my list 🙈

Anyone else obsessed with the Olympics this year!?….never knew how much I enjoyed watching so much sport until now 🤷♀️ I’m blaming the rubbish weather…anyway…I was extremely lucky to pick this up from a kerb side stall the other day so thought I’d share it with you guys. A gorgeously illustrated book of cities.
A World of Cities
by James Brown - Walker Studios.
Slightly style over substance in this instance with huge poster like vertical illustrations and tiny text that leaves the eyes chasing information all over the page, definitely for the more patient reader or one that just likes the illustrations. Regardless, a lovely book to own and when we can visit cities of the world more freely, one that I’m sure we’d use over time.

Keeping with the Greek Myth books as it’s still my sons favourite subject (alongside saving goals and x-box!) this one totally knocks it out the park for me.

Firstly, because let’s be honest it’s the thing I’m most ‘drawn’ to when looking at books, the illustrations/graphics are excellent, sharp, modern and stylish. Secondly because it covers pretty much ev.er.re.thing! From the gods and stories to Greek vases and pronunciations, it covers most of what they’ll learn at junior school on the topic and a bit more for enthusiasts. A fabulous one to have on the book shelf that I’m sure we’ll be digging into time and time again.

Happy Women In Science Day!
Admittedly, I didn’t know that was a thing until today! Here are some awesome science books and just two of the amazing women (in science) from the little people big dreams series to celebrate. There are so many of these to collect and they’re all fab.
