A Shredathon is when people and businesses bring in paperwork to be shredded for a donation to charity

Watford Shredathon week was the idea of Shredpoint Director Rob Anderson who saw a report on a shredathon going on in the United States and looked further into it and found it was being run by the local sheriff’s office to help people avoid identity theft. Rob ran the first Shredathon in Britain in 2011 which was held on a cold January Saturday morning and raised £500 for the Watford Peace Hospice

Today, Coert and Glenn from Shredpoint had the honor of handing over the cheque to Gill Crowson of the Watford Community Fund and Peter Taylor - Mayor of Watford. 🙌
