A strong start to the Lady Mayor's visit to Australia in Sydney, meeting leaders from across banking, insurance and superannuation.
Her discussions with institutions including QBE, Westpac and leading super funds highlighted the depth of the UK-Australian relationship and the shared ambition to strengthen collaboration across investment, digital finance and innovation.
As two globally connected financial centres, there is real opportunity to deepen partnerships and unlock growth together. She looks forward to building on this momentum in the days ahead.

The cameras of ITV London and reporter Jay Akbar joined us for Jewish Culture Month in the Square Mile.
At an event at the Aldgate Centre, a medieval Jewish pie known as floden was recreated from an ancient recipe and shared with attendees, alongside activities exploring historic food traditions.
Funded through the City Corporation’s Stronger Communities Fund, the event was organised by The Jewish Square Mile Project , supported by Shoreditch Trust, and marked the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. It formed part of a wider programme celebrating Jewish life and heritage in the Square Mile.
