Fantastic turnout yesterday as members and supporters joined Richard Holden MP for our Transport: Growth & Delivery discussion.

We have already seen a strong number of responses to the Transport consultation, with ideas and practical experience being shared from across the country.

The discussion explored a range of themes and ideas on:
💬 Tackling driving test backlogs and examiner shortages
💬 Smarter road maintenance and the use of technology and AI
💬 Flexible local transport systems and connectivity
💬 Freight and logistics improvements
💬 Aviation workforce shortages and future skills needs

Strong themes and perspectives also emerged during the discussion, including:

A strong session yesterday as supporters from across the country came together to share ideas and perspectives on welfare and disability with James Windsor-Clive and Angela Matthews 🤝

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻:
💡 How employers can be encouraged to support people with visible and hidden disabilities in the workplace;
🎓 What skills can be provided to young people to help them avoid falling into incapacity benefits.
💼 How welfare provision can be combined with skills development and promoting job opportunities.

𝗙𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
