✨ 2023/2024: A Year of Transformation and Triumph ✨
This year has been nothing short of remarkable, a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of family reunions, academic achievements, and personal growth. Nestled in a charming village in rural England, I’ve not only found a home but also completed a significant milestone: submitting my dissertation for my Master’s in Global Politics, Governance, and Security at Birkbeck, University of London. It’s been a long journey since June 2019, filled with hurdles, yet here I stand.
As the son of nomads, I am driven to defy the odds and break through barriers that once seemed impossible. With immense gratitude, I lift my heart thanks to Almighty God for His grace and favour, guiding me through the darkest chapters of my life, reuniting me with my beloved family, and helping me conquer the challenges on my academic path.
A special shout out to my amazing wife, Salma, and our wonderful kids—thank you for your unwavering support and love during the toughest times. Your faith in me has been my anchor. 💖
I am deeply grateful to the University of London, especially the Department of Politics, under the inspiring leadership of Professor Alex and Doctor Ali. Your encouragement lit a fire within me when I needed it most. Thank you to the entire staff and fellow students who have been a part of this journey, particularly my classmates from the bachelor’s class of 2019 and the master’s class of 2022. We’ve shared challenges and triumphs, especially during the unprecedented times of COVID-19.
My heart goes out to the victims of police brutality in Kenya and their families. I carry your struggles with me and dedicate this achievement to you. Though I’ve found a refuge here in the UK, I remain painfully aware of the ongoing turmoil many of you face.
A big thank you to the people of the United Kingdom for believing in me and allowing me to pursue my education during a time of need. Your kindness has changed my life.
And last but never least, to Dr. Molu and all those who offered their support during these past five years—your impact is immeasurable.
As I close this chapter with my Master’s, I’m already setting my sights on the next adventure: a PhD, insha’Allah. The title may change, but my commitment to learning and making a difference remains steadfast.
Here’s to new beginnings and endless possibilities! 🌟

Walk of my life was founded by Jaffer IsaaK Sora after the realization than Kenya is lost as a nation in the purist of tribal Dominance. It is our understanding that we cannot flourish and be a great nation for as long as we keep choosing our friends, comrades, workmates and consequently leaders based in tribal ties. It is no secret that our country continues to plunge far from grace, crisis afte
