Last week, the ITA – Italian Trade Agency London Office hosted The Italian Food Trade Show, organised in collaboration with UNIEAT, Confagricoltura and Unione Italiana Food, as part of the OpportunItaly initiative.

On 5–6 October, a delegation of Italian agri-food companies met UK importers, distributors and buyers. They presented a wide range of products, from coffee and extra virgin olive oil to pulses, preserves, olives and baked goods.

At The Mayfair Hotel, the programme also included a dedicated briefing on how to approach the UK market, alongside tastings and networking moments showcasing authentic Italian flavours.

A valuable opportunity to promote Italian food excellence and build new commercial partnerships between Italy and the UK. 🇮🇹🇬🇧

🌱 Last week, the Italian Trade Agency concluded a four-day business mission dedicated to the UK horticultural sector, organised in close synergy with the Embassy of Italy in London and in collaboration with ANVE.

From 1–4 September, a delegation of Italian nursery companies took part in meetings, industry exchanges and visits aimed at strengthening commercial links with UK operators and gaining first-hand insight into the market.

At the Four Oaks Trade Show, the programme also included dedicated discussions on phytosanitary requirements, UK–EU trade and the impact of climate change on nursery production.

A valuable opportunity to promote Italian horticultural excellence and strengthen connections between the Italian and UK sectors. 🇮🇹🇬🇧
