During the riot of 2012 in Arakan, 3 injured Rohingyas and 1 Rakhine were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately they died there while undergoing treatment. But their bodies were not buried for 10 years and could not be returned to their country due to the problems of their nationality. Now the hospital authorities are demanding Tk 20 millions Taka as rent for 10 years to keep the dead bodies in the morgue. Both the hospital and the local administration are undecided on this issue.
