Corus Consultancy is now an approved supplier on the GCA RM6376 Framework, Lot 1: Teachers & Education Recruitment. The Bid Governor is proud to have supported Corus on this opportunity.

Winning a place on a GCA framework isn’t easy — the process is competitive, technical and unforgiving of small mistakes (watch the video to hear why). Corus got it right, and schools now have another verified, compliant partner for immediate cover, interim staffing and permanent placements.

To the Education buyers sourcing school staffing through RM6376, Corus Consultancy is ready to support you.

Recruitment agencies, this is what framework accreditation opens up. If you’re weighing up a bid, know that the bar is high but so is the reward.

What’s the difference between Frameworks, Dynamic Purchasing Systems and Dynamic Markets?

Applying for the wrong route, could lock your business out of big government contracts for years.
All models offer a pool of pre-approved suppliers to buyers.
With frameworks, missing the application slot means you’re locked out.
Like a long-distance flight—once it takes off, there’s no onboarding!
A DPS is really flexible—pass the checklist, you’re in the race, competing for opportunities.
Like a public bus, hop on and enjoy the ride from wherever you are.
But the DPS was under the old regs from 2015 and caters for off the shelf standard goods and services. Dynamic Markets under the 2023 act cover all sorts of goods and services include complex works.
You might still see DPS—but DMs are the new kids on the block!
Keep looking for the old terms, you’ll miss the new opportunities
For SMEs, frameworks need early check in; dynamic models keep opening doors.

Want to sell to the UK Government?

First, create a supplier account on — that’s the government’s central platform for public procurement.
Then add your business details and complete your supplier information, ready to share whenever a buyer asks.
Next, search for opportunities that fit what you sell. Don’t overlook smaller contracts—they can be a great way in.
When you spot the right opportunity, read every requirement, register on the buyer’s portal if needed, and submit your bid before the deadline.
Remember: registering doesn’t automatically make you an approved supplier. It gets you in the game.
Winning comes from a winning, compelling bid.

Most people think bids, tenders, and proposals are the exact same thing. Mixing them up is the easiest way to lose a contract before you even apply.

Here is the real breakdown. A tender is the opportunity—it is the formal process a buyer uses to buy goods. A bid is your response—it’s your business telling the buyer ‘we want this job.

And the proposal? That is the meat inside your bid. It holds your exact strategy, your pricing, and your plan to deliver. If your proposal is weak, your entire bid gets thrown in the bin.

Remember: buyers release tenders, you submit bids, and proposals win the contract!

What is Procurement?

Most business owners think procurement is just a fancy word for buying things. It’s actually the secret to doubling your profit margins.
Buying is just paying for an item. Procurement is the whole strategy: finding the right supplier, negotiating the contract, managing risks, and ensuring you get the best value so your business doesn’t bleed cash.
Think government contracts only fill the pockets of huge corporate giants? Think again.
But when you handle government tenders or corporate bidding, one wrong document gets you disqualified.
