"One way you can recognise a campist "leftist" as someone who has abandoned any approximation to actual "Marxism" for the cults of Putinism and Duginist Eurasianism...

"They pay more heed to what an American libertarian capitalist like Jeffrey Sachs (a man who describes socialism as "a dead end" and "the murder of economic potential" ) says than what Europe's foremost Marxist philosopher - Slavoj Zizek - has to say about the causes of Russia's war on Ukraine.

"Zizek recently, in clear and precise terms, explained to the BBC that Putin and Trump are on the same side - the side of the feudalist capitalist and the oligarch - and the campists are, of course, pretending the interview doesn't exist and Zizek said nothing... their only reaction being instead sharing clips of Jeffrey Sachs whining to a right wing news reporter 16 months ago about how Russophobic it is for the West to be sending arms and money to Ukraine.

"Of course, the campist left excommunicated Zizek years ago because he dared call Russia's invasion of Ukraine a war of conquest demanded by the insatiable appetites of the oligarchs for wealth and control and offered no succour to the intellectually cowardly and rabidly Amerocentric "actually NATO made Putin do it!" delusions of the banner wavers, cosplayers, and CCCP fetishists on the Western Left, but it still says something about the absolute state of Campists when clips of Jeffrey Sachs are being dragged out of folders to act as counter-propaganda to Slavoj Zizek telling it like it is."

Заява INDEX щодо нападу на Владислава Стародубцева

У неділю 18 жовтня у Львові близько двадцяти чоловіків напали на Владислава Стародубцева — ветерана російсько-української війни, історика соціалістичного і робітничого руху в Україні й куратора Ветеранського напряму в INDEX. Напад мав на меті зірвати лекцію Владислава «Лівий Львів: коротка історія давньої традиції».

Владислав Стародубцев підписав однорічний контракт із ЗСУ у 22 роки та звільнився зі служби в квітні 2026 року. Восени він долучився до команди INDEX, де координує роботу Ветеранської програми та Стипендіальної програми для чинних військових. Ці програми покликані зберегти свідчення захисників і захисниць України та підтримати їх документальні проєкти у сфері культури та гуманітаристики. Відданість Владислава справі надихає нас розвивати цей напрямок діяльності INDEX. Ми висловлюємо нашу підтримку і солідарність із Владиславом.

Ми сприймаємо напад на члена нашої команди як атаку на громадянське суспільство, цінності якого, включно зі свободою слова і плюралізмом думок, ми відстоюємо.

INDEX рішуче засуджує нападників і вимагає від поліції розслідування цього злочину. Ми також очікуємо негайної реакції від міської влади Львова, яка зобов’язана протидіяти політично вмотивованому насиллю на вулицях міста і захищати принципи, необхідні для функціонування відкритого суспільства.
