Congratulations to everyone who received honours at this week’s Investiture ceremonies, hosted by The Princess Royal at St James’s Palace. 🎖️
👷 The Reservicing Programme at Buckingham Palace means that a number of ceremonies are being held at St James’s for the first time since the pandemic.

The King has attended an Advent Service at Westminster Abbey, highlighting themes of Advent ecumenicism, and the experience of persecuted Christians.
The congregation included Christian leaders from across the UK and the world; members of Anglican Clergy; and representatives of other faiths and charities.

HM King Charles III and HM Queen Camilla visited Neasden Temple in London to mark its 30th anniversary. The British royal couple prayed with the Hindu community who frequent the largest Hindu temple in the country. They also discussed social initiatives implemented for the community. The large Hindu temple Neasden was founded in 1995. This temple, belonging to the BAPS denomination within the Swaminarayan movement, is the largest Hindu temple in the United Kingdom.

The King and Queen have met Pope Leo XIV in the Apostolic Palace, to begin their State Visit to the Holy See.
Their Majesties will undertake engagements with Pope Leo XIV in celebration of the 2025 Papal Jubilee. This will include a special ecumenical service in the Sistine Chapel.
Later this afternoon, The King and Queen will visit the Papal Basilica and Abbey of ‘St. Paul’s Outside the Walls’.

Happy Sunday to you all, Earlier today, The Queen officially opened the 2025 Cliveden Literary Festival, before hosting a reception for authors, festival supporters, charity partners, and students from the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham. 📚
In a speech addressing guests, Her Majesty said:
“There are few houses and gardens in England that are quite as steeped in literature as this one. Rudyard Kipling stayed in the early 1900s. JM Barrie enjoyed strolling in the woods. George Bernard Shaw briefly came to escape the Blitz. Henry James and Edith Wharton holidayed here. The estate is praised in Jerome K Jerome’s “Three Men in a Boat”, it inspired Kenneth Grahame to write ‘The Wind in the Willows’ and I understand that it is even possible to order Ian Fleming’s “Vesper Martini” at the bar – a drink that was a favourite of the late, much-missed Dame Jilly Cooper.”

🎼 At Brecon Cathedral, we watched a marvellous set of performances from the Brecon Choir Festival in celebration of the Cathedral’s centenary year.
👋 At Theatr Brycheiniog, it was wonderful to be reunited with so many of the local community - including the remarkable Coronation Champions of Wales.
🎖️ The 160 Brigade, the regional army command for Wales, supported the Welsh people through the national pandemic, and took part in Their Majesties’ Coronation in May. The King met members of the Brigade and other Welsh units at Brecon Barracks.
🤝 With over 70 years of experience, Calan DVS aims to relieve the distress, suffering and poverty experienced by individuals and families exposed to domestic abuse and sexual violence. Her Majesty spent time with staff and survivors to hear more about the charity's work...

Yesterday, The King met representatives from charities and organisations that have benefitted from the King Charles III Charitable Fund via its partnership with Waitrose Duchy Organic range.
KCCF was founded by The King in 1979, when he was Prince of Wales. Inspired by the values of harmony and sustainability, the Fund’s mission is to transform lives and build sustainable communities.
Over four decades, the Fund has supported charitable causes, fostering sustainable communities through grants, social investment, and the development of innovative initiatives and projects.
Since 2009, the Waitrose Duchy Organic partnership has enabled the Fund to award over 1,600 grants across 20 countries, totalling £50 million and supporting more than 400,000 annually.
