On this day 82 years ago, nearly 160,000 troops were deployed to Normandy.
We remember the heroes of D-Day who faced the impossible to change the course of history and protect us from tyranny.
Thank you to the Greatest Generation for your ultimate sacrifice. Lest we forget.

One of the many things that Combat Stress provides, is fantastic learning opportunities, especially those to help support those supporting loved ones living with PTSD. This helps build confidence and gives tools to assist on navigating life with a loved one with PTSD.
You need not be alone, support is out there ❤️
Supporting a veteran with PTSD symptoms can be difficult to navigate, but you do not have to do it alone.
Our first free webinar in the Stronger Together programme starts on Friday 3 July.
Webinar 1: Support a veteran with PTSD symptoms
This session will help families and friends better understand how trauma can affect veterans and how PTSD symptoms may show up in everyday life.
You’ll gain practical tools to help you navigate difficult moments, build stronger communication, recognise common signs and symptoms, and feel more confident and supported.
The webinars are designed to be flexible. We encourage you to start with Webinar 1, but you can choose the sessions most relevant to you. The full series will also run again in October 2026, February 2027 and June 2027.

Dan joined us at one of Basingstoke Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club breakfasts in February. There is a You Tube video about the Forcer Protocol: https://youtu.be/axok-ZPFQns?si=AHiCU-SH6lY1PANn Claire Lilly who started this initiative has been working tirelessly to roll out the Forcer Protocol in honour of her husband LC Alan Forcer who had PTSD and sadly took his own life after going missing in 2020.
This will be an informative and worthwhile event to attend for those interested. We also have some leaflets and materials to distribute, that we have been distributing from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.

We have kindly had these items donated to raffle. We did kindly state that we don't have a need, we were told we can put them to a worthy cause.
So... Are there any military charities or organisations with events coming up that could use these or some of? If so please get in touch asap. Collection only.
Many thanks.
