What could your community do together for good?
Great Big Green Week runs from 6 to 14 June 2026, and communities across the UK are already planning events to celebrate action for climate and nature.
A nature walk, a repair café, a community growing day, a school project or something completely your own. Whatever it is, registering is free and every event matters.
When you add your event to the national Great Big Green Week map, local people will be able to find out what’s on near them.

We were delighted to visit Mudchute Park & Farm today 🌿🐑
This much-loved farm offers a green oasis within our bustling borough and welcomes over 250,000 visitors each year.
Following the Council’s decision to approve a new 30-year lease for the Mudchute Association, we were pleased to visit alongside Deputy Mayor Maium Talukdar, Cllr Saied Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Homebuilding and Enhancing Council Homes and Neighbourhoods, and Cllr Abu Talha Chowdhury, Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and Governance.
From their on-site nursery, rare breeds of animals and community events (including the Agricultural Show on 6&7 June 🌼) there’s so much to enjoy for all.
Why not plan a visit and see it for yourself?
