November is Islamophobia Awareness Month and we are holding a conference to bring together the community and key partners to discuss Islamophobia. This year’s theme is "Don't Let It Slide", which calls on us all to recognise, challenge and respond to Islamophobia wherever it occurs.

The event will bring together a range of speakers and community voices to explore the impact of Islamophobia, share lived experiences, and highlight positive action being taken to promote inclusion, understanding, and community cohesion. Through presentations, discussion, and performances, attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on how we can all play a role in creating a borough where everyone feels like they belong.

Whether you are a resident, professional, volunteer, community activist, or simply interested in learning more, this event offers an opportunity to listen, reflect, and engage in meaningful discussion.

As part of our Housing Improvement Forum, we're running a series of resident workshops to review the policy and ensure it reflects the needs and experiences of tenants and leaseholders.
We want to hear:
✅ What's working well
✅ What could be improved
✅ What matters most when reporting and receiving repairs
✅ How we can make the service clearer, fairer and more responsive

Whether you've reported a repair recently or simply want to help improve services for everyone, your feedback can make a real difference.
