Last week, the Eszterházy Károly Catholic University in Eger kindly hosted the Budapest Training Institute to give a workshop on 'Surviving and Thriving in Higher Education’, focusing on teaching international students through English.
Participants came from a range of university departments, and were given a number of tips and tools to help reflect on and develop their own professional practice.
Rachel Appleby’s session was very well received and it is hoped that we may be able to provide more of this level of workshop for faculty members to help continue to improve their confidence in teaching courses taught in English across the university.
