Took my lunch in Newington Green today.

Places like this are a big part of what makes the area what it is.

Important they are looked after and protected. Much praise to ward colleague Cllr Kay, NGAG team and the many residents involved over the years.

Good to see the Red Pitch being used regularly.

As ward councillors worked to get this improved and it is important young people have somewhere to go locally.

Good to catch up with a long standing resident from Kerridge Court, who is always happy to share issues with us as ward councillors.

Really useful conversations this weekend and a lot to take forward.

Residents raised issues here and we (Jenny, Santiago and I) got them sorted.

That included cutting back overgrown bushes to help prevent anti social behaviour, and getting tree watering bags in to support new trees properly establishing.

Simple things, but they make a real difference day to day.
