Cam is a thriving community with a population of approximately 8,500 people located in Gloucestershire.

The Parish of Cam lies in the Vale of Gloucester, south of Gloucester, north of Bristol and close to the market town of Dursley. Its history is closely associated with the woolen industry, with several old mills still in existence (although only one still manufactures woollen cloth). There has been considerable residential development from the middle of the twentieth century and Cam is now a thriving community with a population of approximately 8,500 people, represented by a Parish Council with 16 members.

🌺 A little beauty ahead of a day of Remembrance. ❤️

The flowers at Hopton Memorial are looking beautiful ahead of next Sunday’s Remembrance Day Parade.

Planted with care by our wonderful Blooming Cam volunteers, alongside members of our community who came together in the spring to help, they are now providing a colourful and peaceful backdrop.

Thank you to everyone who has helped create this special space for our community. 🌿
