The word is out and the 'Poetry in the Round' Circle has expanded to form an impromptu space for sharing verse! This month we were treated to a performance reading about a cat, a recital about a working day in London and, we discussed old and new poems about nature, friendship and the life of a frozen pea - It truly was an Oktoberfest of prose! How about joining us for a fun thought provoking two hours on Friday 13th November at 1:00pm?

We’re very pleased to confirm that Meole Brace Park and Ride in Shrewsbury is to continue operating for a further three years.

From 1 November, buses from Meole Brace will operate every 20 minutes, Monday to Saturday, with the first bus into Shrewsbury town centre at 7.20am and the last bus leaving the town centre at approx.. 6.20pm.

🚌 Oxon and Harlescott park and ride 🚌

▶️ From 1 November buses from the Oxon and Harlescott sites will continue to run every 12 minutes between 8am and 5pm.
▶️ There will also be a new evening service from Oxon and Harlescott, with journeys every 20 minutes from 5pm, Monday to Saturday, with final departures from the town centre at around 10pm. The evening journeys will also operate as stopping services, providing opportunities for people to get on and off the bus on these routes.

❗ All Shrewsbury Park and Ride services will be operated by Hotspur Buses from 1 November 2026.

ℹ️ Retaining Meole Brace Park and Ride means we’ll continue providing Park and Ride access from the south of Shrewsbury, while taking a longer-term look at how the town’s overall Park and Ride network should operate in future.
