Well done to those who guessed correctly - the Snowdogs are coming to Macclesfield this Christmas!

Hot on Elmer the Elephants heels, ten unbelieably cute Snowdogs will form a trail which will launch on Tuesday 24th November.

Maps for the trail and stickers once you have completed it will be available from Roe 11 Hairdressing, , Modern Woolfare in the Picturedrome courtyard, One Project Macclesfield, Batter & Bowl in the Macclesfield Market Hall, 𝙔𝘼𝙎 𝘽𝙀𝘼𝙉 on Buxton Road, The Quiet Cat, , and Z in the attic.

Please tag your Snowdog photos on socials with the hashtag and we will pick one adult and one child to win their very own Snowdog!

This time last week we were sorting the finishing touches for the first ever Macclesfield Coffee Festival.

It was such a great day and we have had some fantastic feedback alongside a 23% increase in footfall in town vs a standard Saturday with no event on.

Thank you again to all the venues, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shops and businesses who participated, and thank you to everyone who came!

We've got over 50 businesses taking part in the Pumpkin Trail this year.

Our pumpkins come from Libby’s Patch Farm and are delivered to the shops by our Macclesfield Town Ranger team.

Shops and businesses then have a couple of days to decorate their pumpkins, be it traditional carving or maybe something more creative such as painting it or covering it in some way.

Come and join us for the trail on the 31st October as part of Spooky Saturday!

The intrigue is getting to everyone, this morning even Town Clerk Laura was spotted try to get a glimpse under the wrapping paper. She was told that if we can't look then neither can she and was sent back to her desk in shame!

We reckon the paper won't last the rest of the week. Wonder what it could be?
