Let's talk about food recycling. β¬‡οΈπŸŒ

In Essex, you can recycle your food using WEEKLY food recycling collections. Simply follow these steps:

1️⃣ Line your indoor caddy or container with a caddy liner (this is optional but helps keep the container clean).

2️⃣ Collect your food in an indoor food recycling caddy or container

3️⃣ Regularly transfer the collected food to an outdoor caddy. This keeps your indoor caddy fresh πŸ‹

There are many ways to make food recycling work for you! If you have any questions, please comment below. πŸ’¬

🌳 Important update for visitors to Burnham-on-Crouch Cemetery 🌳

Our teams are currently on site dealing with a fallen tree in the cemetery.

We are working to safely remove the tree and will also be assessing any damage caused. πŸ”

For your safety, please avoid the affected area while our teams carry out this work. 🚧

The rest of the cemetery remains open and can be visited as normal. Thank you for your patience and understanding. πŸ’š

πŸ“’ Work is starting on a new Local Plan for the district. 🏘️

The Local Plan will help decide where new homes, jobs and services should go in the future. It will also help protect our countryside, wildlife and historic places. 🌳

This plan will help make sure future growth is supported by the roads, schools, healthcare and other infrastructure our communities need. πŸš—πŸ«πŸ₯
