🎉🔥 DERVENTIO FIRE AND SECURITY IS 10 TODAY! 🔥🎉
10 years ago we started Derventio Fire & Security.
Armed with a toolbox, a van and the dangerous belief that running your own business would be a good idea. 😂
Fast-forward 10 years and we’ve somehow survived…
🚨 Thousands of alarms going BEEEEEEP while we’re standing directly underneath them.
🪜 Enough time up ladders to qualify as professional roofers.
🚐 Enough miles in the van to have developed strong opinions about every service station in Britain.
☕ Approximately 47,000 cups of tea.*
🧯 And countless customers asking: “So… can I actually set this extinguisher off?”
We’ve fitted alarms, serviced extinguishers, installed CCTV, secured buildings and occasionally even remembered where we put the screwdriver.
Most importantly, we’ve met some brilliant people and built a business we're extremely proud of.
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has trusted us, recommended us, worked with us, made us a brew or moved the boxes out of the way five minutes before we arrived.
We genuinely couldn't have done it without you.
Here’s to the next 10 years of Derventio Fire & Security. 🍻🔥
Hopefully with fewer ladders.
2016–2026 | 10 YEARS OF DERVENTIO
☕ Tea figure completely made up. Probably an underestimate.

This pen glides across the page with smooth, consistent ink. It feels balanced in your hand, doesn’t scratch or skip, and gives your writing a clean, confident look. No gimmicks—just a pen that makes something you do every day noticeably better.

Little job finished off today.
Fire extinguishers and mandatory fire safety signs
Smartcell wireless fire alarm system, this came in ideal for this building with all cabling having to be surface. The wireless system kept the site looking tidy and was fully compliant to BS5839 and BAFE requirements.
