WHAT TO DO NEXT? - replying to Sam Butler.
The university is making the formal complains procedure even more difficult and complex to try and discourage us from going forward with the process.
Copy the text from our link ‘reply to Sam Butler’ into the reply. Add more course specific content to your complaint if you need to. Reattach the complaint. Click send.
It takes one minute. Your voice can make a difference.

We have to make them listen. Keep hashtagging on as many social media platforms as you can. If not for ourselves, then for the people who have anonymously listed their experiences here. These testimonials are absolutely devastating. Our university must listen.

Open Letter to UoM

The university is now replying to emails sent before and during the Christmas break - now is the time to act!
More information on the autonomous complaint action taking place via the link in our bio ‘complaints procedure guidance’.
If we increase complaints submitted to the OIA by just 1%, the government has said they will review it on a national level.
To send an OIA complaint, you must first go through the procedure of the university. We’ve worked so hard to compile all this info to make it as easy as possible for students to send complaints in this intentionally complex procedure - join us in our fight!

SEND OR RESEND THOSE EMAILS NOW! THIS TAKES 30 SECONDS.
Many of us have returned home, but the fight continues! We’ve done the work for you - all you have to do is click a button and type in your name.
If the University wants to treat students as consumers then they are in full breach of our consumer rights. Send our tuition fee complaint email directly to Nancy Rothwell and other senior officials NOW. The more we overload their inboxes, the more powerful our voices become. Most University emails are taking a break over Christmas - let’s give them a nice present to welcome them back in the new year. TAKE ACTION AND SHARE THE MESSAGE.

Progress! Make sure to follow up. Just a 1% increase in student complaints will force the government to reconsider taking action on reducing our tuition fees to reflect the true value of the courses we are receiving.
We deserve better than paying 9k upwards for an online course that could have been done from home. Students have been exploited long enough.
Now is the time to raise your voice.
